New radiocarbon dating results have revealed surprising insights into the chronology of occupation at our excavation site, pushing back the earliest settlement by several centuries.

These dates require us to reconsider previous assumptions about population movements and cultural developments in the South Caucasus during the Bronze Age.

Our team is now working to integrate these findings into a revised chronological framework for the site.
